Free Online SEO Tools

Tools for search, structured data, and on-page optimization.

This page brings together our free online SEO tools — a hand-built collection for content writers, technical SEOs, and webmasters. Generate optimized meta titles and descriptions with live Google SERP previews, build Open Graph and Twitter Card tags for social sharing, compose a valid sitemap.xml or robots.txt, turn titles into clean URL slugs, score text with Flesch–Kincaid and Gunning Fog readability metrics, count words and reading time, and look up HTTP status codes or IP geolocation when crawl issues hit — all in your browser, with no sign-up.

Whether you're drafting a page title under Google's 60-character SERP limit, debugging a 4xx response in Search Console, generating a sitemap before a relaunch, validating that your robots.txt actually allows the right crawlers, or rewriting copy to a Grade 8 reading level, the 10 tools below cover the on-page and technical work that real SEO requires.

The SEO building blocks these tools cover

Meta title & description
The two strings Google shows in search results. Titles are typically truncated past ~60 characters and descriptions past ~155 — our generator counts in real time and renders a SERP preview so you can see the cut-off before publishing.
Open Graph & Twitter cards
The og:title, og:image, twitter:card tags that control how your URL renders on Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Slack. Get them wrong and every share looks broken.
sitemap.xml
The machine-readable list of URLs you want Google to crawl. A valid sitemap accelerates discovery for new pages and gives Search Console useful coverage diagnostics.
robots.txt
The first file every crawler fetches. It controls which URL patterns get indexed and points at your sitemap. A single misplaced Disallow: / can deindex an entire site.
URL slugs
Short, lowercase, dash-separated paths derived from the page title — important for both ranking and the link previews humans actually click on.
Readability scores
Flesch Reading Ease, Flesch–Kincaid Grade Level, and Gunning Fog measure how hard a piece of text is to read. Most consumer-facing content targets Grade 8 or below; legal and academic content sits higher by design.
HTTP status codes
The 1xx-5xx response codes that crawlers act on. Knowing the difference between a 301, 302, 307 and 308 redirect — or a 404 vs. 410 — directly affects how Google treats removed and moved pages.
